Lambton College is proud to unveil its newest research centre:
the Centre for Community, Health & Social Impact (CCHSI)
Built on the success of Civic Lab, CCHSI expands its focus to address community,
health, and social collaborative research projects.
Since its inception, Civic Lab has completed six projects with 19 more in progress,
engaging 27 community partners and providing hands-on experience to 25
Lambton College students. Now, as CCHSI, the Centre is poised to make an even greater impact on the well-being of our communities.
CCHSI will serve as a dynamic hub for collaborative research, addressing pressing issues such as economic resiliency, food security, mental health, environmental sustainability, and more. Partnering with over 20 community organizations, including First Nations communities, not-for-profits, local health services, environmental groups, and more, we are committed to fostering healthier, more resilient communities locally and nationally through research.

Two New Labs Unveiled at Lambton College to Propel Biotechnology and Natural Health Products
ast month, Lambton College proudly inaugurated two state-of-the-art research
facilities: the Bio Safety Level 2 (BSL2) and the Natural Health Products
(NHP) Research Labs.
The BSL2 lab is fully certified and equipped to support advanced biotechnology
projects, positioning Lambton College at the forefront of research in Ontario.
By providing our research teams, including students, access to advanced
biotechnology and biomanufacturing capabilities, the BSL2 research lab is set to
enrich academic programs and drive groundbreaking discoveries.
In parallel, the NHP Research Lab fills a crucial niche by offering a containment-
